•  Texas Folk Life Festival in San Antonio

                    Our successful Turkish booth, complete with cultural displays and Turkish food 

                    sales, has won numerous festival awards. As of 2024, we have participated in this 

                    festival for 30 years. 

• ATA SA Turkish Festival of San Antonio

                   A full display of Turkish culture, food, dance, and live music. A folk-dance group from 

                  Türkiye traveled to San Antonio for two consecutive years for this festival, which was 

                   held downtown and open to all San Antonians.  

• Turkish Republic Day Ball

                    Our largest annual event, featuring famous singers and folk dancers from Türkiye, 

                    where we host city officials and members of the Turkish Embassy and Consulate,     

                    along with distinguished keynote speakers from various sectors. 

•  Turkish Language Classes 

                    We teach Turkish at various levels and for various age groups with appropriate    

                    syllabus selection for each level and age group. Held every Sunday upon 

                    adequate demand. 

•   Turkish Folk Dance Classes 

                     Turkish folk-dance classes for kids and adults. We proudly showcase our work at 

                     the end of the school year with an impressive show.   

•    Systems, Man and Cybernetics Conference (SMC) 2009, Hyatt Regency     

                     Riverwalk Hotel, San Antonio  

                     We were invited to represent Türkiye at this conference, with ATA-SA members in 

                     national costume greeting attendees and a Turkish exhibit providing 

                     more information. 

•  City of Windcrest 50th Anniversary Festival, 2009 

                    Our Turkish booth with cultural displays and Turkish food sales was a big hit. 

•   Tejeda Middle School History Faire and Culture Fest, San Antonio 

                     Our cultural booth and costumed members taught students about Türkiye. 

•    Lackland Air Force Base, International Folk Festival, San Antonio, 2007 

                      Türkiye was the host country at this special event. 

•     “An Evening in Istanbul” at the San Antonio Museum of Art, 2003  

                       A special night of Turkish  cultural festivities, including food, art, music, and 

                       dancing.  

Annual Celebrations of Turkish Holidays and Special Historical Occasions 

Ongoing events celebrate Turkish Independence, Children’s Day, Turkish Republic Day, and religious holidays.
